‘The Waves’

The sun was so bright, the sky so pink, and that idea of summer seemed to reign over our clouded judgement of the British wether hiding behind a sunset.

‘The Waves’ collection is a body of work showcasing a variety movement and waves with different perspectives- some with and some without human interaction. With views along the north coast of Devon and Cornwall the paintings range from teal-ly greens to pastel browns.
Single breaking waves, and sunset surfs will also be included in the body of work. I wanted to show texture, dramatic movement, the vigorous pull from the swell and the realistic moody sky’s that often come with the swell on that last minute Saturday night road trip.
